Boy Scouts
This can be used to help your scout troop get their art badge, clay badge or ceramics badge. You could also have just a fun activity to help with decorations for the blue and gold banquet or end of year or holiday get togethers.
We offer a variety of projects that cover the badge requirements.
Basic Badge requirement: Students will learn language, methods, and rules for working with clay. Each student will make a sm pinch pot and coil pot. Then, we will paint them with underglazes. A tour of the kiln room is included. This is one 2 Hr session. Please allow 2 weeks for staff to clear glaze and complete your firings.
